QCAD is a free, open source application for computer aided drafting (CAD) in two dimensions (2D). With QCAD you can create technical drawings such as plans for buildings, interiors, mechanical parts or schematics and diagrams. QCAD works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The source code of QCAD is released under the GPL version 3 (GPLv3), a popular Open Source license.

install QCAD
QCAD 3.6.4 is available for Linux, Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac from this page.
For Linux, we will have to first remove any previous versions, then we’re going to download the installar .run, when the download is move the file .run in the home and start the terminal and type:
chmod + x qcad.runand confirm the installation. To remove QCAD just restart the script and confirm removal of the software from our distribution.
sudo ./qcad.run
