EasyTAG 2.2.5 released, viewing and editing tags in audio files for Linux Ubuntu, Linux Mint, windows, and Debian
EasyTAG is an open source graphical application that allows users to
view and edit tags for MP3, MP2, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, MusePack, WavPack and
Monkey’s Audio files. It supports Linux and Microsoft Windows OSes.
Features at a glance
The program features a
simple, easy-to-use and user-friendly interface written in the GTK+
toolkit, which makes audio tagging operations a breeze under GNU/Linux
operating systems. With this application you will be able to edit
several tag fields, including title, album, artist, year, original
artist or performer, composer, track number, disc number, comment,
copyright, encoder name, and URL.
Renaming files and folders from the tag is also possible, as well as the ability to browse subdirectories and edit selected audio files of the selected folder. Also, the tagging, renaming, removing and saving operations can be recursive. In addition, users will be able to set a field like title or artist to all other files, undo and redo the last changes made to a file or entire directory, open a file or a folder with an external application, and convert letters into lowercase or uppercase.
