Dalisha and Kawaiki, two sets of icons for Linux
We present two new sets of icons for Linux called Dalisha Kawaiki and here is how to install them.
Dalisha icons in Ubuntu
On the net there are many websites, blogs, forums etc. dedicated not only to the software, guides, etc. in Linux, but also the customization of the free operating system. In fact, the major Linux desktop environments have many themes, icons, cursors dedicated that we can easily install directly from the official repositories. Among the many icons set is available for Linux, I want to point out Dalisha and Kawaiki two new projects very interesting.
Dalisha is a set of icons “flat” circular for Linux can support the major desktop environments such as Gnome Shell, Unity, XFCE, etc.. Note the excellent support for the main Gnome applications providing excellent integration especially with Ubuntu Unity (as we can see from the picture above).
Dalisha To install just download the set of icons from the home of the project (link below), extract the file and copy the folder in your home directory .icons (hidden by default to display just click Ctrl + h if c ‘is enough to create it).
Kawaiki is a set of icons created to provide a variant of the set of default icons in the Unity / Gnome Shell also has a specific version for Xubuntu.
For Ubuntu and you can easily install a set of icons Kawaiki thanks to deb packages that can be downloaded from this page.
Alternatively, we can install Kawaiki downloading the set of icons from the home of the project (link below), extract the file and copy the folder in your home directory .icons (hidden by default to display just click Ctrl + h if there ‘is enough to create it).
Once you copy or move the icons just start Gnome Tweak Tool or other customization tools to set up the new set of icons.
