To Install XnViewMP 0.68 on Linux Ubuntu, Mint and Debian derivative systems, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

Install on linux system 32 bit :
wget http://download.xnview.com/XnViewMP-linux.deb
sudo dpkg -i XnViewMP-linux.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo rm -rf XnViewMP-linux.deb
Install on linux system 64 bit :
wget http://download.xnview.com/XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb
sudo dpkg -i XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo rm -rf XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb
