To Install TeamViewer 9 on Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Pinguy OS 14.04, LXLE 14.04, Linux Lite 2.0, Deepin 2014, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Peppermint Five, Debian Jessie, Debian Wheezy and other Ubuntu and Debian derivative systems.

Install for 32 bit
sudo apt-get install gdebi
sudo gdebi teamviewer_linux.deb

Install for 64 bit
sudo apt-get install gdebi
sudo gdebi teamviewer_linux_x64.deb

To remove remove teamviewer 9, on both 32 bit and 64 bit architectures, open terminal and follow tihs command:

sudo apt-get remove teamviewer
